B&Q launches new £60m responsive website

Unfortunately, we didn’t get to build the new B&Q site, nor the new Selfridges site that cost £40m! However, it’s always good to read about what these companies are doing and to learn from what they’ve implemented and the direction they’re moving in.

Econsultancy’s review of the B&Q site is worth looking at – they review the UX including the mega-menu restructure, the search tool, results page and products pages. It looks as if they still haven’t ironed out all usability issues…eg why do you still have to register to buy something! Always a personal bugbear.
